With our current FGASA Trails Guide Standards in place our Walking Industry is gearing up to have some of the most prepared and well-rounded Walking Guides in Africa

Tchagra Trails is a FGASA Endorsed Mentor and Trails Guide Assessor. We can assist you with your full needs throughout the Apprentice Trails Guide Programme.

We are Endorsed to Mentor up--in-coming SKS DG Guides.

• Wilderness Walking Guide Courses 10 and 15 Day options

FGASA Guides are expected to, alongside an Endorsed Mentor, have minimum 200 hours and minimum 60 encounters within free-roaming Big5 areas in the Apprentice Trails Guide Programme before their Trails Guide Practical Assessment.

If you are currently working in a non free-roaming Big 5 area, or non Big 5 area, but wish to obtain your FGASA Trails Guide Hours and Encounters we can assist you and set up a customised training option on a free-roaming Big 5 property.

Giving your guests a Holistic Experience with well rounded and sound knowledge is pertinent for your guests over-all Safari experience. Learning more whilst also working on delivery and empathetic reading of your clients is a skill to be honed and worked on.
